I did enjoy the first and third films in this franchise, but never saw the second. The third probably should have just been unrelated since it was totally different characters. Fast & Furious, however, picks up the characters from the very first film and takes it from there.

Mindless, giddy, entertainment. You’re there for cars and action and you get both. Just don’t expect an art-house movie experience.

While there were some decent action scenes, this film fell a bit flat for me overall. I think it was the script more-so than anything else.

Knowing, the film starring Nicolas Cage was pretty disappointing to me. The acting was horrible even for Cage. I keep hoping to see something better from director Alex Proyas, who’s Dark City is just plain awesome.

This is belated, but I really liked the movie. Read the comic way back when it was first released and the film brought back a lot of memories.
