Little Ashes

I thought this was going to be more about Salvador Dali. While it had a very small piece of his life in it, it was a bit more about Federico García Lorca. They both had a relationship almost homosexual, but not quite all the way.

Can’t say I liked this film at all. I think the popularity of Rob Pattinson had the marketing team overblowing his Dali performance making you think it was more about that, so the previews are misleading in a way. Boring. And whoever took care of Dali’s moustache must have had a hard time. Being thin, it would float around Pattinson’s lip from cut to cut during a single scene. Distractingly so.
